    The best restaurants have empty tables on any given night and these restaurants would rather have their tables filled than empty. TablePouncer allows it's members to book these tables on a last-minute basis and receive exclusive discounts of up to 70% off their food bill or total bill. TablePouncer is a strictly no voucher booking service, meaning our members get treated the same as the restaurant's own full paying customers.

  • Why should I book through TablePouncer?

    Hundreds of restaurants reward you for booking through TablePouncer by giving you exclusive discounts on their last-minute empty tables - on average you'll save 50% off your total food bill.

  • How do I make a booking?

    Simply search for your dining choice and location from one of our hundreds of restaurants, then select your desired booking time and group size, click "book now" and complete your reservation. No paper vouchers or booklets are required - you will receive your booking confirmation voucher as an SMS.

  • How far in advance can I make a booking?

    TablePouncer is for last-minute restaurant bookings, so you can book a table for today or for tomorrow, but not any further in advance than that.

  • How do you confirm bookings for TablePouncer.com members?

    We know that both our members and our restaurant partners have mobile phones, so we use SMSs to notify restaurants of a member's booking, and confirm the booking to the member by SMS as well. We also send an email confirmation just to be doubly sure that the booking is received. Because the restaurant has control of their deals, number of tables allocated per deal, and the times they are available, they can put forward exclusive, highly discounted deals to attract customers at the times they need them most.

  • What do I do when I arrive at the restaurant?

    The restaurant will already know about your booking and that it was made on the TablePouncer website. In most cases this will mean that the last-minute deal discount is discretely applied to the bill at the end of your meal. In the rare instance that the restaurant is not aware of your booking, or they forget to apply the discount, they may require you to show them your TablePouncer SMS confirmation.

  • Does it cost me anything to make a booking?

    TablePouncer.com charges you a small booking fee for each booking that you make. This helps cover our administration costs and ensures that we're able to continuing sourcing the biggest discounts at the best local restaurants. Our business model is unique in that we don't charge anything to our restaurant partners, which allows us to secure the best possible discounts for you.

  • How much is the booking fee?

    The booking fee is £2.50 per person. This helps to cover our costs and allows us to negotiate the best last-minute deals at the best local restaurants. If your purchase an annual membership you won't pay any booking fees.

  • How can I pay the booking fee?

    You can pay the booking fee using your mobile phone (easy steps provided during the booking process). You can also choose to pay using a credit card, debit card or Paypal account.

  • How do I change a booking?

    Unfortunately it is not possible to change it once it's been made, so please double check that the booking details are correct before confirming and paying the booking fee.

  • How do I cancel a booking?

    You can cancel the booking by calling the restaurant directly. We usually list the restaurant telephone number in your booking confirmation email and SMS.

  • If I cancel a booking, do I get the booking fee back?

    No sorry, booking fees are non-refundable. The only time that we will refund your booking fee is if the restaurant cancels your booking, in which case we will refund the booking fee by providing you with a promo code that you can use against your next booking.

  • What do I get with my membership?

    Your membership enables you to book hundreds of great local restaurants that are offering last-minute dining deals on their unfilled tables. Each time you book a table on TablePouncer.com, or via the mobile app, you'll be save up to 65% off your bill with the TablePouncer last-minute deal.

  • Will I still have to pay the £2.50 per diner booking fee?

    No, as an annual member you won't have to pay any booking fees. That's right, no more booking fees for annual members EVER!

  • How many bookings can I make each month?

    Book as much as you want, whenever you want. TablePouncer doesn't limit the number of bookings you can make. The only limitations are that you can not book more than one restaurant per day.

  • Can other people use my membership to make bookings?

    Only the person whose name the membership is in can make bookings under the membership. Our technology will not allow bookings to be made in names other than the member. If you want to add a spouse or partner to the membership please email members@tablepouncer.com with your request.

  • How do I make a booking?

    Simply search for your dining choice and location from one of our hundreds of restaurants, then select your desired booking time and group size, click "book now". Enter your booking name, email address and click 'Do you have a promo code' to enter your annual membership code. When you have entered your annual membership code, click 'Redeem' and see the booking fee be reduced to £0! Ensure you enter your mobile number before pressing 'Book Now'.

  • How far in advance can I make a booking?

    You can book tables for today and tomorrow.

  • Will my membership automatically renew?

    Yes, your membership will automatically renew. You can cancel any time to stop it from being renewed.

  • Can I cancel at any time?

    Yes. Just email your cancellation request to members@tablepouncer.com. Your membership will remain active until the current billing period ends, then your membership will convert to a pay-as-you-go membership.

  • How many restaurants are available to book on TablePouncer?

    We work with hundreds of great independent restaurants and are adding 50 new restaurants per week. As an annual member you can make a booking at any of our restaurants, as often as you like.

  • On what devices can I use TablePouncer?

    You can book tables on TablePouncer through your web-browser using any computer, or using the web-browser built into almost all smartphones and tablets. Additionally, you can install our app on your iPhone, iPad, or any Android device to make bookings easily on the move.

  • Can I use TablePouncer without a membership

    Yes you can use TablePouncer as a pay-as-you-go customer. This means that you'll pay £2.50 per diner as a booking fee when you book a table. You will also only be able to access tables one day in advance, instead of two days in advance as an annual member.

  • Do I pay TablePouncer or the restaurant for my meal?

    You pay the restaurant for your meal. The dining experience is exactly the same as if you booked directly with the restaurant. The only difference is that you'll be receiving a last-minute deal, so your bill will have a nice saving added to it.

  • What are some additional benefits of being a TablePouncer annual member?

    In addition to being able to book tables one day earlier than PAYG customers and not paying any booking fees, you'll also be able to make bookings faster as you won't have to go through the booking fee payment process that non-members do. An annual membership is the best way to experience TablePouncer, and we highly recommend it.
